Who are we?


Well, me.. the one who does the writing, I’m Heather! Born and raised on Cape Cod in Massachusetts (for those of you who don’t know where that is, its the arm that hangs off Massachusetts – I grew up on the elbow!) I went to Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelors Degree in Website Development & Management. After college I moved down to Texas and that is where I am today! I am a UX Designer for the one and only Travelocity Roaming Gnome – Yup, I work for Travelocity. If you need help finding a vacation – maybe I can help. I am, technically, a travel agent!

My other half, Kyle, was born and raised right here in Texas. You may not know that if you met him though – he hardly has a southern accident, no cowboy hats or cowboy boots for him – I guess that is what growing up in a city does – it takes the southern out of you! He went to college at Ouchita Baptist in Arkadelphia, Arkansas for Performance Theatre. Kyle works in Finance at one of the largest banks in the world.

We met in March of 2006, got engaged on December 23, 2006 and got married in Frisco, Texas on October 20, 2007! Shortly after our wedding, in

February of 2008 we bought our first home – coincidently in a Cape Cod themed neighborhood!

After a few years of being married, we decided it was time to start our family and then on June 18, 2010 our perfect little girl, Lennox, was born! She is one crazy little girl, but she is so much fun – we hope you enjoy reading about all the new and fun things she is up to everyday!

We also have a mini-zoo (or at least it seems like it). We have a dog, Daisy-Mae and THREE cats, George, Gracie & Lily. They are all crazy and have the most personality out of any pets i’ve ever had!

This blog is named the Terrell Family Fun blog, since on the days we are able to go out as a family and go to say, The Zoo, Kyle always says they are Family Fun Days, so that’s where the name comes from

So there you have it – Kyle, Heather, Lennox, George, Gracie, Daisy-Mae and Lily — We are the Terrell’s!
