My 40 week journey is almost over… some say they will miss being pregnant — I honestly think I will not be one of those people. Of course it’s completely worth the end result, but geez I just want my body back! It will be nice to be able to bend down to pick something up, tie my own shoes, get dressed without losing my balance, tripping over nothing, spilling my drinks all the time (apparently i forgot how to drink from a glass while being pregnant), sleep on my stomach if I want to and no more maternity clothing!

Everything here in the Terrell household is going well — we will be getting the car seat installed tomorrow, that was the last thing to check off out list.  The bag is packed and next to the front door, waiting to be swept away to the hospital! I’m caught up at work and my fill in starts on Monday – It will be nice to have 3 months off from work, but i’m sure it will fly by and before we know it, it will be time to put Lennox into her daycare (we have already saved her spot in, by the way) and time for me to return to work.

I’ll try to get one more belly pic up here before we go into the hospital too.

Maybe my next update will be after Lennox arrives…. if not, then later next week! Until then… send good baby vibes our way!

What’s Currently Going On

Pregnancy: 39 weeks!
Weight Gain: about 27 pounds over pre-pregnancy weight
Sleep: Starting to get less and less sleep again – I seem to wake up every night at the same time. Maybe that means she will wake up at that time every night in the beginning too – we’ll see!
Feeling: Very sore all over! HUGE!
Health: Ankle hurts, hips hurt, back hurts…. you know – the norm’  lol
Movement: Lots and lots of movement.
Belly: LOW & big! No stretch marks!
Next Appointment: Monday the 14th – last appointment!
Upcoming Events: Last doctors appointment on Monday, Mom arrives in Texas on Wednesday and then we go into the hospital Thursday night/Friday morning for my induction if she hasn’t come by then!!

Well, I’ve made it! Full-term today! You can officially say I have a watermelon in my belly. I wish I could have some Friendly’s Wattamelon Roll to celebrate.. yummmm.

So what have we been up to the last week and a half? Well – we got everything that was left on our “to buy” list, put together the stroller & infant seat — just have to get the bases installed into the cars. I’ve been getting things together for our hospital bag — plan on finishing that this weekend, so that it is ready to go whenever I’m ready to go! We are wrapping a few things up around the house, but overall, we are ready for Lennox to arrive.

We had a good doctors appointment this past week, baby has started to drop down, and I sure can tell by the amount of pressure I have on my belly now. No real progress other than that though at this point. We did get our induction date scheduled for the 18th, so at least we know that the 18th is the latest we will have to wait before going to the hospital! Hopefully if I’m induced, i don’t have a very long labor!

We also got our maternity pictures back – we are so happy with them! Marcus did a GREAT job on them and we had a lot of fun having them taken. Here are a few:

What’s Currently Going On

Pregnancy: 37 weeks
Weight Gain: 24 pounds over pre-pregnancy weight
Sleep: A little better the last week or two, all it took was switching sides of the bed and having the fan on high for some white noise… I still wake up plenty but I’ve felt a little more rested in the morning – although that doesn’t seem to last too long!
Feeling: Sore all over, lots of pressure/tightness, HOT!
Health: Nothing new really.
Movement: When she gets moving, she really gets moving – it feels like shes shaking her booty back and forth in there. She had a long spell of hiccups yesterday.
Belly: Measuring right at 37 cm — right on track.
Next Appointment: Wednesday the 2nd.
Upcoming Events: Kim & Mandy’s baby shower for baby biscuit on the 5th, mom arrives in Texas on the 16th and then BIRTH! Induction scheduled for 18th if she doesn’t come before then!

Getting closer and closer! We had our first weekly OB appointment today, so not like I didn’t already feel like I’ve been living at the doctors office, now I REALLY will feel like I’m living at the doctors office, since I’ll be there every week, maybe even twice at the very end.

Everything is looking great! Lennox may end up being bigger than I would of expected – with 4 weeks left, she is already somewhere between 5 1/2 to 6 pounds. She was in the head down position and her booty was sticking straight out! We started talking about induction dates for when we get to my due date, so next week we will schedule that and then we’ll at least know the latest that she could arrive – I wouldn’t mind her being a little early at this point though! I’m ready for her to come out and meet us, never mind have my body back!

We will be going out this weekend and getting the rest of the things on our baby “to buy” list – then the nursery and house should be completely ready for Lennox’s arrival!

What’s Currently Going On

Pregnancy: 35 Weeks 4 Days
Weight Gain: 22 pounds over pre-pregnancy weight! This makes me happy
Sleep: Everyone is telling me to get as much sleep as I can right now before she comes, but that is much easier said than done! I can’t seem to get comfortable and I’m waking up a lot — and of course no matter how much sleep I get, I’m still exhausted when it’s time to get up.
Feeling: Sore, Tired, ITCHY.. again
Health: Nothing too new, PUPPs is back and still lots of heartburn.
Movement: Still dancing around like a crazy girl!
Belly: Measuring right at 35-36 cm — right on track.
Next Appointment: Wednesday the 26th.
Upcoming Events: Nothing more baby related until she decides to arrive at this point!

That is about it – we should have our maternity pictures back in the next week or so I think, once I get them, i’ll make sure to share
